Yin & RESTORATIVE
Yin Yoga is a practice that cultivates mindfulness and body awareness. We hold poses from 1 to 10 minutes with the goal of releasing myofascial tension and blocks to the free movement of energy in the body. These classes are led by Joanne, Daria, and Ursula, and are 60 to 90 minutes. Yin Yang practices add movement in the form of flow into the long holds. It is a great way to combine or start your yin practice if you already practice vinyasa flow. Restorative practices are meant to restore, relax, and rejuvenate tired bodies. Expect lots of props and deep, peaceful postures. Back to the library.
