Day 3: Body in Motion

Begin your day with gratitude. Look for that spark of enthusiasm for a new day as you gently do some shoulder rolls, head circles, ankle rolls and whatever you need before coming to the mat for meditation. The recording is right here:
Notice any changes in how you feel now. Write it down if you like and then move your lovely body for about 20 minutes. Then join us for yoga flow:
Today is day 3. So, perhaps in your journal take a moment to feel for any intuition or new ideas. Ask yourself if you love moving in the morning. Wait a little while for the answer. Is there a new habit that makes you feel good and you’d like to continue. Write it down. What you write down expands. Take a moment, write it and commit keeping this good new habit in your life.
The magical mix of heat and scent. Today we’d like to suggest trying a hot pad on your shoulder while enjoying some of your favorite aromatherapy. Aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts to promote health and well-being. Sometimes it's called essential oil therapy. Aromatherapy uses aromatic essential oils medicinally to improve health. It enhances both physical and emotional health.
Make Your Own Hot Pad
If you don’t have a hot pad at home, no worries. Find a small to medium sized towel, soak it in warm to hot water depending on the temperature you’d prefer. Add a few drops of your essential oil and then let it gently sit on your shoulders. Wring out excess water before you place it there. Think about putting some of the same oil drops in a diffuser as well. This way the aroma therapy will wrap your entire body in relaxed healing. Sit in a comfortable position and enjoy the tension leaving your body. Receive the gift of self care. We love lavender for its relaxing and healing properties. Lemon or grapefruit can be invigorating. Or a blend like Doterra’s balance can help you access amazing healing in just a few drops.
